Deighton D. Stump, 37, of Rockbridge, Ohio,
passed away May 6, 2019 at Ripley, WV.
Deighton was born September 5, 1981 in Lancaster, Ohio to Deighton J. Stump Jr.
and Candy S. (Cook) Stump. He was a graduate of Logan Elm High School and was
an equipment operator for BC Excavation.
Surviving are his children, Hannah, Hailey and Wyatte; his parents, Deighton
Jr. and Candy Stump of Rockbridge; grandmother, Christina Stump; sister, Robin
Broughton; and many, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deighton was preceded in death by his grandfather, Deighton Stump, Sr.
Funeral services were held at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home on Monday, May 13,
2019 at 1 P.M., with Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial was in Morgan
Chapel Cemetery, Rockbridge.
Calling hours were observed from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. prior to the service at the
funeral home.
