Ross J. Wolfe, 94, of Logan, Ohio passed away November 10, 2018 at Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio. Ross was born September 29, 1924 in Pomeroy, Ohio to David and Mona Mae Wolfe. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Army & Marine Corps; worked and retired from Deeds Dairy; owned and operated Wolfe Shoe Repair and Grocery; and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Ann Wolfe; children, Ross Dwight Wolfe, Peggy (Bob) Diamond, Ray Wolfe, Bev Sargent, Linda (Calvin) Lehman, Marge Wolfe, Dot (Larry) Jackson, and Matt (Amanda) Wolfe; grandchildren, Kassie Wolfe, Josh Wolfe, Harley Rau, Levi Rau, Wyatt Wolfe, and several others; and great-grandchildren, Kolten Wolfe, Mikey Wolfe, Mya Wolfe, Izak Wolfe, Gunnar Rau, Adison Rau, Molly Rau, Tatum Wolfe and several others. Ross was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Shawn Daniel Wolfe; and son-in-law, Jeff Sargent. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Mike Martin officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio, where a Military Graveside Service was held by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Calling hours were observed Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 10 am to time of service.
