Saundra L Brown 80, of Glouster, Ohio passed
away June 22, 2017 at The Laurels of Athens Athens, Ohio.
Saundra was born May 19, 1937 in New Straitsville, Ohio to Harry and Betty Ann
Breeze-Conn. She was a graduate of New Straitsville High School.
Surviving are son James F. Brown Jr. of Glouster; daughter Alicia Marie (David)
Connor of Glouster; grandchildren, Traci L. (Peter) Kachenko, James Adam (Holly
Bickenhauser) Brown, Derek M. Brown, Brandon C. Brown, and Samuel D. Connor;
great-grandchildren, Iris M. Kachenko, James Ridge Brown, and Manni P.
Kachenko; brothers, John (Carolyn) Conn of Logan and Henry (Connie) Thrapp;
sister-in-law Donna Conn; and an aunt Mary Margaret Stickdorn of New
Straitsville.
Saundra was preceded in death by her parents; step-father Pearl Thrapp;
great-grandson Arlo Kachenko; brothers, Harry (Donna) Conn, and Kevin Daniel
Thrapp; grandparents, Earl and Marie Breeze; and a niece Sandy McManus.
Funeral services were held 1:00 pm Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Brown Funeral
Home, Murray City, Ohio with Pastor Tim Poling officiating. Burial was in New
Straitsville Cemetery, New Straitsville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Saturday 11am-1pm at the funeral home
