Gannett L. Cinquepalmi 63, of Athens, Ohio,
loving wife mother and grandmother, passed away March 20, 2017 at her
residence.
Gannett was born June 15, 1953 in Wilder, Virginia to William A. and Thelma A.
Simerly. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church of Glouster; worked
for the Child Support Agency in Athens for 24 ½ years .
Surviving are her husband of 46 years Robert D. Cinquepalmi of Athens;
children, Robert S. (Amber) Cinquepalmi of Glouster, Shannon (Tammy)
Cinquepalmi of Glouster, Tyler Cinquepalmi of Athens, and Angela Cinquepalmi of
Haydenville; grandchildren, Makenna Cinquepalmi, Brandon Henderson, Bradly
Cinquepalmi, Shannon Cinquepalmi Jr., Haylee Campbell, and Kaylee Campbell; and
siblings, Kenneth (Joana) Simerly of Rockbridge, Geneva McQuaid of Rockbridge,
Terry (Marcia) Simerly of Logan, Diana McAlpin of Florida, William
“Andy” (Mable) Simerly of Athens, Paula (Mark) Simerly of Vandellia,
and Patrick “Shane” Simerly.
Gannett was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services were held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Brown
Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with David Edgell officiating. Burial was in
Salem Cemetery, Murray City, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Thursday, March 23, 2017 6-8 and Friday, March 24,
2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
