Charles William “Bill” Drake Jr. 79, of Glouster, Ohio passed away December 12, 2016 at his residence. Charles was born July 30, 1937 in Trimble Township, Ohio to Chalres W. and Muriel M. Drake. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Trimble #557; 32nd Degree Scottish Rite of Columbus; member of the VFW in Jacksonville; and retired from Conrail after 33 years. Surviving are his sons, Tim (Janie) Drake of Union Furnace, Brian K. Drake of Glouster, and David B. Drake of Groveport; daughters, Cindy M. Drake of Glouster, Stacie L. (Randy) McCord of Glouster, and Heather Drake of Glouster; 26 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; brother, James (Rosie) Drake of Columbus; sisters, Marylin (David) Brown of Nelsonville, Karen (Dennis) Lenigar of Glouster, and Dorothy Campbell of Gilbert, LA; and brother-in-law, Gerald Fagin of Spokan, WA. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy Drake, who passed away in 2011; son, Paul A. Drake; daughter, Pamela Campbell; sister, Carol A. Fagin; and companion of daughter, Robert Andrews. Funeral services were held 1:00 pm Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home Murray City, Ohio. Burial was in Taylor Ridge Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home. A Masonic service was held on Thursday at 7:30 pm.
