Marilyn D. Gwilym, 89, of Jacksonville, Ohio
passed away March 12, 2017 at The Laurels of Athens, Athens, Ohio.
Marilyn was born September 10, 1927 in Taylor Ridge, Ohio to Elton R. and
Cecilia M. Bulstrom. She was a member of the Jacksonville United Methodist
Church; and attended Redtown Church.
Surviving are son, William J. (Diana) Gwilym Jr. of Glouster; daughters, Sandra
(Mark) Hunter of Jacksonville, and Sharon (Tim) Sikorski of Glouster; 9
grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary
Belle Andrews of Glouster; and sisters-in-law, Shirley Bulstrom of Trimble and
Eileen Mingus of Jacksonville.
Marilyn was preceded in death by parents; husband of 46 years, William J.
Gwilym Sr., who passed away April 6, 1996; brothers, Glenn, Bob, Kenny, and
Pat; and a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Don Chapman.
Funeral services were held 11:00 am Friday March 17, 2017 at the Jacksonville
United Methodist Church with Pastor Carolyn Hoskinson and Pastor Rick Seiter
officiating. Burial was in Taylor Ridge Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Brown Funeral Home
in Murray City and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
