Annette Hopstetter, age 61, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on May 22, 2024, at her home.
Annette was born September 30, 1962, in Logan, Ohio to Walter E. and Erma J. Bumgardner. Annette loved to go hunting, kayaking, and gardening. She also loved her many dogs.
Surviving are husband of 42 years, David J. Hopstetter; children, Jamie Hopstetter and Jan Hopstetter; stepchildren, Daniel Hopstetter and Kieth Hopstetter; grandchildren, Dominick Rager, Rosella Rager, and Avery Hopstetter; several step-grandchildren; siblings, Michael “Bumr” (Reanae) Bumgardner and Roberta “Bert” Hall; nieces, Christy Hall and Katlin Gwinn; nephew, Matthew Hall; great-niece, Alexis Gager; great-nephews, Ayden and Robert Gager; special friend, Chrystal Scaggs; and many other wonderful friends.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Walter E. and Erma J. Bumgardner.
Calling hours were observed from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Monday June 3, 2024, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., on Monday June 3, 2024, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Robert Beacher officiating. Burial followed at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
The family is accepting donations through the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
