Dean Davis, age 87, of Logan, Ohio, passed away January 4, 2025, at his residence.

Dean was born July 12, 1937. in Vinton County, Ohio to Ernest Davis and Ethel Fern Ellis Davis. He was a 1955 graduate of Union Furnace High School; retired from Local #423 Union and Welded Construction and worked all over the United States; loved rabbit hunting with his dog “bugs”, coon hunting, tractors, old cars, and his garden.                   

Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Davis; sons, Roger (Jane) Davis of Logan, Mark Davis of Logan, Randy Davis of Logan, Doug Davis of Logan, and Craig Davis of Columbus; 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Ronald Davis of Columbus.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday January 10, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Hue, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed Thursday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
