Barry E. “Lone Wolf” Stewart

Barry E. “Lone Wolf” Stewart, age 65, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away March 23, 2025, at Arbors of Carroll, Carroll, Ohio.

“Lone Wolf” was born on August 15, 1959, in Columbus Ohio to Harry “Dick” Stewart and Judith Karns Stewart. He was a truck driver for 26 years and it was his passion. His call name during that time was Chico.  He also loved working on his collection of cars every free chance he got. His prized possession was his Jimmy. He loved to add new things to it and race it down the highway. He also loved his children and grandchildren deeply. He had sweet nicknames for them all such as “Missy Jean”, “Bucket Head”, and “Hiddy Kitty”. He was a kind and caring man that was also a “hothead”. He was always doing things on his own and drove his own path. And that’s where he got the nickname “Lone Wolf”. He is loved so much by his family and will be missed tremendously.                       

Surviving are his children, Heidi (Josh) Stewart of Rushville, Erynne (Jeremiah) Wiseman of Lancaster, Emylie (Devin) Ross of Lancaster, David Finnerello of Lancaster, and Charlotte Griggs of North Carolina; grandchildren, Roman, Rhorie, Reid, Kovu, Elijah, Jeremiah, Akhtayviah, Xander, Krya, Zayn, and Azyl; mother, Judith Stewart of Columbus; mother of his children, Rebecca Tinnerello; and sisters, Marsha Wolverton of Columbus and Ruthie Smith of Columbus.

“Lone Wolf” was preceded in death by his father; brother, Larry Stewart; girlfriend, Susie Gammell; best friend, Danny-D; and brother-in-law, John Wolverton.

Funeral services were held at 12 P.M., Monday March 31, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Alton Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed 10 am – 12 noon on Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with “Lone Wolf’s” funeral expenses.
