Belvia Louise Kienzle, age 84, of Logan, Ohio, passed away December 26, 2020 at her residence, surrounded by family.

Louise was born February 20, 1936 in Hocking County, Ohio to John W. and Purle Lehman.

She graduated in 1954 from Logan High School; retired from Goodyear in Logan; and attended the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and The People’s Church in Logan.

Growing up, Louise enjoyed roller skating at the Grotto Grounds, and working at the dime store in downtown Logan. She was a member of the Chatterbells.

Louise loved to travel, with her favorite places being the warm sunny beaches of Hawaii and Florida. She liked to gather shells, as she walked along the shoreline. Louise also never missed an opportunity to enjoy lunch with her many lifelong friends. She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds in her yard.                              

Surviving are her children, Joy (Allan) Johnson, Judy (Brian) Nihiser, Jan (Gary) Hatfield, Jeri (Brian) McKibben, Jason (Jodi) Kienzle, and Jean (Chris) Forson; grandchildren, Leanne, Christopher, Ryan, Kyle, Kelly, Jelena, Noah, Courtney, Tyler, Josh, and Jacob; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law Larry (Carolyn) Kienzle.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 58 years, Clark Kienzle; sister Audrey Blair; and grandson Korey Nihiser.

Funeral services were held at 11 am on Thursday December 31, 2020 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Chuck Fidler officiating. Burial was in Smith Chapel Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

 Calling hours were observed Wednesday 4-8 pm and one hour prior to the 11 am service at the funeral home.

Masks and social distancing are required to attend the calling hours or funeral.
