Betty L. Amodio, age 60, of The Plains, Ohio, passed away December 23, 2020 at her residence.
Betty was born May 10, 1960 in Franklin County to Mack and Rosa Mae Toler Amodio. She was a graduate of Nelsonville-York High School; attended Hocking College; worked at Ohio State Optical in Athens; member of Lifepoint Church in Athens; and loved being with her church friends and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her sons, Jon (Danielle) Arnold of Amesville, and Christopher Arnold of Amesville; brothers, Danny (Trena) Amodio of Logan, and Troy (Tabby) Amodio of Nelsonville; granchildren, Maleigha, Maeleigh, Kyleigh, Avery, Luka, and Karson Arnold; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; brother Mack Amodio Jr.; and sisters, Virginia and Mary Amodio.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M., Saturday January 9, 2021 at the Lifepoint Church in Athens with Pastor Barry Blankenship and Pastor Lew Dunnells officiating.
Calling hours will be observed 12 noon -5pm Saturday at the church.
Arrangements are by Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonville, Ohio.
