Betty L. Goodlive, 82, of Logan, Ohio passed away November 9, 2018 at University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. Betty was born June 11, 1936 in Logan, Ohio to Lester and Zola Huston. She was a 1954 graduate of Logan High School; member of the Hocking Hills United Methodist Church; belonged to WOAM (Women on a Mission); member of the Shawl Prayer Mission of the Church; and life member of Sigma Phi Gamma. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, John Goodlive; children, Pamela S. (Patrick) Powers of Salisbury, MD, John R. Goodlive of El Paso, TX, and Mendi J. (Eugene M.) Toy of Crestline; grandchildren, Jenna Powers, Elise Barkley, Jessica Lane, Amanda Toy, and Sarah Toy; 6 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Goodlive of Logan; and brother-in-law, William H (Hilda) Goodlive of Frankfurt, Germany. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Robert Huston. Funeral services were held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Rodney Rogers officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Wednesday November 14, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
