Betty Louise Anders, 94, a longtime resident
of Buchtel, Ohio, passed away December 7, 2018 at her residence in Dover, Ohio,
surrounded by her family.
Betty was born September 5, 1924 in Orbiston, Ohio, to Clarence and Carrie
Marie O’Rourke. Betty and Bob had 59 wonderful years together. They enjoyed
dancing and trips to Las Vegas.
Surviving are her three daughters, Diane (David) Roberts of Perrysburg, Janet
(Tom) Mitchell of Murray City, and Roberta (Don) Vasko of Logan; and son,
Robert (Judy (Kittle)) Anders of Dover. She was blessed with twelve
grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert “Bob”
Anders; parents, Clarence and Carrie Marie O’Rourke; sister, Katherine Robson;
and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Marie Denny.
Calling hours were observed Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Brown Funeral
Home, Murray City, Ohio from 12 Noon until the funeral services, which were
held at 1:00 PM with Minister Chris Mulpas officiating, Burial was in the
Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
