Beverly Jean Keslar, age 83, of Logan, Ohio, passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on April 17, 2023, at her daughter’s residence, after a prolonged illness, in Costa Mesa, CA.
Bev was born March 21, 1940, in Columbus Ohio to Ray Moore and Inez Priore. Bev loved spending time with family and grandchildren. She was a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Logan and the Baptist Women’s Group. She also did Prison Ministry. Though, her passion in life, besides the Lord, were her flowers and gardening.
Surviving are her children, Kim Keslar, Martie (Rick) Brown, and Amy (Cornel) Halliburton; fiancé, Gary Anderson; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Seager; beloved nephews and great-nephew; and Ellie, her grand-dog, who gave her comfort in her final days.
Bev was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Boyd Keslar; parents, Ray Moore and Inez Priore; and son, William Keslar.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday April 25, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Lucas Moncada officiating. The burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 5-8 P.M. on Monday April 24, 2023, and 1-11 A.M. on Tuesday April 25, 2023.
