Beverly Jean Woodrum, age 85, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away July 22, 2020 at her residence.
Beverly was born February 1, 1935 in Orbiston, Ohio to Floyd Wade and Naomi Fulton Wade. She was a retired nurse from Athens Mental Health Center; longtime servant at Risen Redeemer Church in Nelsonville; attended Oak Grove Wesleyan Church near Nelsonville; she was active with the gospel group “The Pilgrim Heirs”; and was active in jail ministry.
Surviving are her daughter Valerie (Jody) Six of Nelsonville; son Floyd Woodrum of Nelsonville; sisters Laraine Wade of Reynoldsburg, and Mary Lou Dane of New Plymouth; grandchildren, Jody (Kimberly) Six, Jeff (Pamela) Six, Jennifer (Christopher) Boggs, and Vance Johnson; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Dana, Kayla, Cassidy, Sierra, and Sylas; and many great-great grandchildren.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband Muriel Woodrum, who passed away in 1989; daughter Vicki Johnson; brother Jerry; and sisters Ruth Ann, Peggy, and Judy.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday July 25, 2020 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor John Johnson officiating. Burial was in Whitmore Cemetery, Buchtel, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed on Saturday 9:00 am – 10:30 am at the funeral home. Masks and Social distancing are encouraged.
