Billy E. McBride Sr., age 78, of Logan, Ohio, passed away January 19, 2022 at Clarkrange, Tennessee.
Billy was born August 22, 1943, in Carbon Hill, Ohio. He was a Logan High School graduate; Union Rep. to GE for the Electrical Union; retired from GE of Logan; and member the Kline Memorial UM Church in Enterprise, since he was 3 years old.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon McBride; sons, Billy (Jodi) McBride Jr. of The Plains, and Gregory Allen McBride of Newark; stepsons, Scott Taylor and Cory Taylor; grandson, Bryce McBride of Alaska; step-granddaughters, Jackie Carpenter of Union Furnace and Breana Broughman of Columbus; 3 grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandsons; sisters, Betty Cather and Marie (Mike) Stedman; several nieces and nephews
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 49 years, Barbara A. McBride; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Funeral services were held at 4:00 P.M., January 23, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Mike Adkins and Pastor Brian Davis officiating.
Calling hours were observed on Sunday 2-4 pm at the funeral home.
Graveside services and burial were held Monday, January 24, 2022, at 11 am at the Knollwood Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.
