Bob Reliford, 80, died at his home on November 23, 2017. Bob was born in Athens County, Ohio to Morgan and Lilly Bowen Reliford. Bob was an avid sportsman, enjoying many different sports. He hunted, trapped, shot trap, bowled, and fished in the semi-pro bass circuit. He especially enjoyed taking his bass boat to the Ohio River and Lake Erie. He collected antique marbles and had amassed a large collection. He also collected pocket knives and guns. Bob was a bee keeper, only giving this up when he was no longer physically able to tend the bees. Bob was a lumber inspector and worked at Wolsky Stairs in Logan. Then for several years traveled and graded lumber in Ohio, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania. As well as his parents, Bob was preceded in death by sons, Bob Anthony Reliford and Robert Morgan Reliford; brothers, Harold Reliford of New Jersey and Walter Reliford of Lancaster; sisters, Vera Kemp of Newark, Jean Mace of Logan, and Dorothy Zimmerman of Columbus; and twin sister Betty of Logan. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Anita Reliford; son Joseph Randolph (Jennifer) Reliford of Lancaster; granddaughter Amanda (Joe) Katulak; grandson Jesse Reliford, who is serving with the Air Force in Afghanistan; and daughter-in-law Angela Reliford of Nelsonville. Following Bob’s wishes he was cremated and immediate family only at the graveside rites. A memorial celebration of Bob’s life were held at a later date.
