Brandy Kay Dye, age 23, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away January 12, 2023, at her residence.
Brandy was born August 11, 1999, in Columbus, Ohio. She participated in the yearly Parkinson’s Foundation Walk.
Surviving are her mother, Melissa Dye of Nelsonville; father, Brian Dye of Nelsonville; sisters, Victoria (Thomas) Dean of Nelsonville, Brissy (Luke) Meeker of Nelsonville, Brittany Durette of Dayton, and Alecia (Justin) Hall of Franklin Furnace; brother-in-law, Michael Durette; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Brandy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bertha & Jerry Cox and Burie & Pamela Dye; aunt, Rita Brengartner; and uncle, Jeffery Cox.
Funeral services were held at 1 pm Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonviile, Ohio with Micah Jones officiating. Burial was in New Straitsville Cemetery, New Straitsville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 6-8 pm Friday and 11am to time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with Brandy’s funeral expenses.
