Carl E. Stewart Jr, age 48, of Piketon, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord on December 24, 2022 from his residence.
Carl was born September 10, 1974, in Wooster, Ohio. He worked for Jackson Hewitt Transport Service.
Surviving are his lifelong companion, Betty Harmon of Piketon; children, Brandon Stewart of Piketon, Audrea Stewart (Derek Hott), of Middletown, Gregory Grube of The Plains, Helen Harmon (Jessie Klein) of Vinton, Angie (David) Childers of Pomeroy, and Tasha Hott of Middletown; 4 grandsons; 9 granddaughters; father, Carl E. Stewart of Gallipolis; and sisters, Mary Stewart (Ricky Phillips) of Athens, Maxine (Clark) Taylor of Middleport, and Connie Stewart of Huntington, WV.
Carl was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rutter Stewart; grandparents, Charles & Edna Stewart and Marion & Jessie Rutter; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held at 12 noon on Thursday, December 29th, 2022, at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Glouster Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 10 am-12 noon on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the funeral home to help with Carl’s funeral expenses.
