Carl E. Wharton, age 92, of Sugar Grove, Ohio, passed away December 16, 2021 at Altercare of Somerset, Somerset, Ohio.
Carl was born November 26, 1929 in Indiana to Tracy and Alda Wharton. He was a gospel singer and was a member of a gospel group. Carl was a member of the Union United Methodist Church near Logan, Ohio.
Surviving are his granddaughter Tracy (William) Todd; great-grandchildren, Hayleigh (Charles) Buckley, William (Liv) Chaffins, Jake Morris, and Jordon Todd; and great-great-grandchildren, Grace, Aurora, JoJo, Gabby, Benson, Oakley, and Avia.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
