Carol Francine Cook, age 84, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away February 14, 2024, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Carol was born February 16, 1939, in Emporia, Kansas to Gilbert Marcus Mott and Ruth Linden Mott.
She was a graduate of Gahana-Lincoln High School, Columbus; enjoyed watching sporting events that her grandchildren participated in; and Liked to cook and to watch Kansas University Jay Hawks basketball.
Surviving are daughters, Carrie (Geoff Porter) Cook-Porter of Logan and Peggy (Donald) Cook-Wooten of Lancaster; grandchildren, Rachel Stilwell, Mitchell (Brittany) Cook-Solt, Cailin Cook-Porter, Avery Cook-Porter, McCray Wooten and Zachary (Nikki) Wooten; great-grandchildren, Lyra Solt, Lincoln Solt, Dyanna Wooten and Lilly Wooten; brothers, Eric (Debbie) Mott and Richard Mott; and many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gregory Cook, who passed away September 12, 2023; daughter, Amy Allison Porter; and granddaughter, Camille Cook-Solt.
Calling hours were observed from 5 to 7 P.M. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
