Carolyn Newlun, age 49, of Athens, Ohio, passed away August 28, 2023, at Laurels of Athens, Athens, Ohio.
Carolyn was born August 27, 1974, in Athens, Ohio to Donald and Carol Frazee. She was a 1993 graduate of Athens High School and adored her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Leonard Newlun, Jr.; daughters, Mary (Douglas Hoyd) Newlun and Tammy (Dekota McLean) Myers; grandchildren, Pyper Hoyd, Douglas Hoyd III, and Brayden McLean; nephew, Kyle (Kelsey) Frazee; and brothers, Donald Frazee and John Frazee.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tommy Frazee.
Visitation was observed on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 5 P.M. until the funeral service at 6:00 P.M., at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio.
