Carrie Belle Smith-Watkins, age 84, of New Lexington, Ohio, passed away June 24, 2021 at SKLD Nursing Home, New Lexington, Ohio.
Carrie was born June 23, 1937, in Haydenville, Ohio to Virgil and Lucille Smith. Carrie loved to watch football and was a major Michigan and Steelers fan.
Surviving are her children, Adam (Shelly) Watkins, Leann (Jim) Guisinger, and Scott Gump; brother Delbert (Linda Mouser) Smith; grandchildren, Jason (Ashlee) Guisinger, Jamie Guisinger, Jessica Guisinger, Mariah (Joshua) Hughes, Libby Watkins, and Andrea (Roby) Watkins; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Guisinger, Kaylee Ellinger, Talia Guisinger, Sophia Guisinger, Lyla White, and Dawson Hughes.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Lucille Smith; brother Charlie Barnett; grandson Joshua Guisinger; and nephew Casey Smith.
Calling hours were observed from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. on Monday June 28, 2021, at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
Funeral services followed calling hours at 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 28, 2021, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Jeremy Rhoades officiating. Burial was in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill, Ohio.
