Carrie M. Byers, age 56, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away January 12, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Carrie was born January 10, 1969, in Athens, Ohio, to William and Lula Mae Campbell. Carrie loved coloring and spending time with her beloved family and cat, meow.

Surviving are her children, Rodney (Candice) Bookman Jr. and Bill Bookman; grandchildren, Coltin and Alyssa Bookman; brothers, Paul (Linda) Campbell and Bill Campbell; brother-in-law, Jim Short; friend, Dave Sullivan; and cat, Meow.

Carrie was preceded in death by parents, Bill and Lula Campbell; siblings, Iva Wetzel, Sue Short, and Ron Campbell; and sister-in-law, Maxine Campbell.

There will be no services held at this time. Arrangements are by the Warren-Brown Funeral Home of Nelsonville, Ohio.
