Cathy Sue Donaldson, age 66, of Logan, Ohio, passed away on December 28, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
She was born on February 27, 1954 in Hocking County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert F. and Gladys E. Conrad.
Cathy retired from the Logan-Hocking School System after 25+ years, with most of her time as a preschool aide.
Cathy loved her grandchildren and taking them on vacation with her. She loved to scrapbook and watching game shows, food shows and HGTV.
She was looking forward to traveling and some free time to scrapbook, until the challenge of raising her grandchildren was given to her. Her life was helping other and putting herself second.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Donaldson; son Noah Donaldson and his girlfriend Dorena Borders of Columbus; granddaughter Aliescia Donaldson of Florida; grandsons, Curtis Donaldson, Liam Donaldson and Collin Donaldson of the home and Wyatt Donaldson of Columbus; brothers, Frank (Sue) Conrad of Bremen, John (Linda) Conrad of Rockbridge, George Ed (Regina) Conrad of Logan and Tony (Brenda) Conrad of Logan; sister, Anna (Bob) Mees of Lancaster; mother-in-law, Bertye Donaldson; sister-in-law, Marsha Conrad; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Conrad; sister Bonnie Dwyer Griffith; and father-in-law, Floyd Donaldson.
Funeral services were Monday, January 4, 2021, at 1:00 pm at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Deacon Don Robers officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were Monday from 11 am till time of services at the funeral home.
Mask and social distancing are required for calling hours and funeral services.
