Charles E. Hamilton, 63, of Athens, Ohio passed away July 24, 2015 at Kimes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Athens, Ohio. Charles was born November 16, 1951 in Chardon, Ohio to Paul and Ida Hamilton. He worked for Sickles Septic and Goodwin’s Super Duper until he retired; and was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion, VFW, and Amvets. Surviving are his children, Tony (Christine) Hamilton, Angie (Ron) Kelley, and Kamryn Hamilton; grandchildren, Alex, Austin, Isaiah, Nick, Jessie, JoJo, Laiken, and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Brayden, and Hunter; brothers, Bob (Janet) Hamilton and Ronnie (Tammy) Hamilton; sister, Cindy (Dave) Elliott; sister-in-law, Brenda Hamilton; special nieces, Jennifer and Kelly Hamilton; aunt, Jean Tedrick; and also many other nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Larry and Paul D. Hamilton; and sisters, Linda Licht and Diana Haddox. A memorial service was held on Saturday August 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Albany Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonville.
