Charles Lee Burgette, age 62, of Stockport, Ohio, passed away May 6, 2022, at Genesis Hospice Care – Morison House, of Zanesville, Ohio.
Charles was born December 15, 1959, in Richwood, Ohio. He enjoyed going fishing, playing guitar, listening to music, and crafting.
Surviving are his mother, Thirza Burgette of Piketon; sisters, Mary (Carl) Spencer of Texas, Teresa German of Crooksville, Beth (Andy) Bays of Bellefountain, Ohio, Debra Saxon of Texas, and Tami Tippit of Texas; brothers, Mose Burgette of Piketon, and Daniel (Breann) Jager; children, Amanda (Mike) Callahan of Stockport, Dustin (Brittney) Burgette of Stockport, and Kayla (Cody) Burgette of Alpena, Michigan; step-children, Tommy Shook of Newark, Michael Jewels of Glouster, and Tonya Shover of California; and 11 grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles V. Burgette; sister Jennifer Burgette; wife Delsie Callahan; and girlfriend Terri Smith.
Funeral services were held at 11:30 A.M., Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio. Burial was in Mountville Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 10 am to time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Brown Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
