Charles Wilson Smith, age 66, of The Plains, Ohio, passed away October 25, 2023, at The Plains, Ohio.
Charles was born December 5, 1956, in Athens, Ohio to Charles Leonard Smith and Shirley Ann Perry Smith.
Surviving are his sons, Jason Smith and Jerry Smith, both of Nelsonville; brothers, Greg Smith of Nelsonville, Brent Smith, Brian Smith, and Mark Smith, all of The Plains; sister, Debbie Taylor of the Plains; 4 grandchildren, Hailey, Colton, Skyler, and Colton; 3 great-grandchildren, Azalea, Lyla, and Karson; and several nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Carrie and Amy; sister, Kimberly Smith; niece, Trina Mossburger; and nieces, Angel Smith and Brittany Smith.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Gary Alton officiating. Burial was in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 11 am – 1 pm on Friday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with his funeral expenses.
