Christine “Chris” Montgomery, age 63, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away April 10, 2024, at her home.
Chris was born July 14, 1960, in Lancaster, Ohio to Otha and Flora Yoke. Chris loved holidays, but especially Christmas. She always went all out for Christmas. Chris enjoyed spending her time with her family, doing Karaoke, and camping.
Surviving are her loving husband, Miles Montgomery; 6 children, April Wogan, Shannon (Amy Marie) Montgomery, Shane (Jasmine) Montgomery, Stacy Bash, and Tammy (Ron) Campbell, Cordell Montgomery; 28 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 siblings, Liz (Allen) Meadows, Gloria (Jim) Snead, Rachel (John) Aubery, and Chad (Angie) Yoke; dog, Socks; and many friends, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Chris was preceded in death by parents, Otha and Flora Yoke; 5 siblings, Wanda Downard, Dallas Yoke, Vermal Yoke, Ray Yoke, and Lloyd Yoke; son, Shon Montgomery; son-in-law, Thomas Bash; grandson, Shon Montgomery; and special friend that recently passed, Beaver.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M., Thursday April 18, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio with William D. Stutler officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
Calling hours will be observed from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Thursday April 18, 2024, at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family asks that everyone dresses comfortably.
