Christine E. Lehman, 69, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away May 8, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Christine was born March 27, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to James and Norma Freer. She was a 1967 graduate of Nelsonville High School; worked at Rocky Boots in Nelsonville for 33 years; and was a life member of the VFW and the Ladies Auxillary. Surviving are her husband of 48 years Richard Lehman of Nelsonville; son Ryan (Michelle) Lehman of Logan; grandchildren, Kaycee (Natasha Mash) Lehman of Nelsonville, Zachery Lehman of Logan, and Taylor Lehman of Palmyra, Maine; siblings, Mike (Peggy) Freer of Nelsonville, Dave Freer of Nelsonville, Von (Shelly) Godenschwager of Nelsonville and George (Jolene) Godenschwager of Carbon Hill; several nieces and nephews; and lifetime friends, Bob and Mary Ann Russell of Haydenville. Christine was preceded in death by her mother Norma Freer Godenschwager; father James Freer; step-father George Godenschwager; son Andrew Lehman; and brothers, Jeff Freer and Steve Freer. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Friday, May 11, 2018, from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
