Connie Sue Thompson, age 63, of McConnelsville, Ohio, passed away March 16, 2025, at Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio.

Connie was born February 28, 1962, in Westerville to Ralph and Beverly Kitzmiller. Connie graduated from Westerville-North High School and pursued her education at the Westerville School of Cosmetology, where she trained to become a hairdresser. She held deep admiration for the Bible and cherished her faith in Jesus.

Surviving are her loving husband, Douglas Thompson; daughter, Nicole (Shawn) Richards of McConnelsville; grandson, Andrew Richards; 2 sisters, Carmen (John) Elmer of Columbus and Becci Jones of Grove City; and Sheila Gyer, who was like Connie’s other daughter.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Beverly Kitzmiller; youngest daughter, Brandee Boysel; and twin sister, Beth Kitzmiller.

There will be a celebration of life service held at 1:00 PM on Sunday March 30th, 2025, at the Cornerstone South Family Life Church located at 160 S 5th St, McConnelsville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate through the funeral home to help with final expenses.
