Darlene Sue Durrette, age 63, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2023, at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.
Darlene was born January 9, 1960, in Logan, Ohio to Thomas Glick and Ella Glick. Darlene was a member of the Rock Church of Parkersburg, WV. She loved animals, gardening, planting flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her mother, Ella Glick; sons, Joseph Durrette and Terry Lyons; several grand and great-grandchildren; siblings, Tommy Glick, Diane (William) Hopkins, Debra Smith, John Glick, and Robert (Jennifer) Glick; sister-in-law, Alicia Glick; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jesse.
Darlene was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Glick and siblings, Timothy and Connie Glick.
At this time, the family has opted for a simple cremation through the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio. The family is also accepting donations on the funeral home website to help with unexpected cremation expenses.
