David A. Thomas, age 83, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away October 15, 2022, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
David was born December 22, 1938, in Lancaster, Ohio. He served in the US Marine Corps.
Surviving are his wife of almost 40 years, Peggy Thomas; children, Davietta Hudnell, Bud (Debbie) Thomas, Bill Thomas, Steven (Mickey) Thomas, Trish (Bob) McCabe, and Adam Drake; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a brother Ronald Thomas.
David was preceded in death by his father Earl Thomas; mother Bessie Green Shoemaker; sons, David Thomas and Reginald Thomas; and a sister JoAnn Beavers.
Funeral services were held at 12 Noon Friday, October 21, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Floral Hills Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. A Military graveside service was held by the Lancaster Burial Detail.
