David Lee Young, age 60, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away July 22, 2023, at his residence.
David was born September 19, 1962, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Delbert Dale Young and Betty McKnight Young. He enjoyed sports; enjoyed building cars and motorcycles; and loved to race.
Surviving are his children, Jessica Stinson of Nelsonville, Bethany Young of Nelsonville, Davonne (Luke) Eberhard of Murray City, David Lee (D.J.) Young of Wellston, Joey Young of Wellston, and Anthony Young of Buchtel; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; mother, Betty Young of Nelsonville; sisters, Christy (Jeff) Webb, and Teresa (Randy) Hine; brothers, Robert (Angie) Young, and Dale Young; and special friends, Mark Huddy, and Tommy Dishong.
David was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Dale Young; brother, Steven Dale Young; and grandparents, Goldie & Charles Huddy, and Beatrice & Raymond McKnight.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm Wednesday July 26, 2023, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Tommy Dishong officiating. Burial was in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
