David “Hank” Hankison, age 70, of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, after a long battle with cancer on December 12, 2021.
David was born April 23, 1951 in Nelsonville, Ohio to Harold “Hank” and Marian Hankison. David worked at Amanda Bent Bolt for many years. He never met a stranger and loved his family dearly.
Surviving are his loving and very patient wife of 37 years, Diane Hankison; children, Stephanie (Jeff), Jason (Michelle “his other daughter”), and Angie; grandchildren, Molly, Riley, Dusty, Nellie, and Zoie; great-grandchildren, Gretta, Bailey, Hayden, and Danny; sister Lynn (Steve) Smith; nephew Nicholas Smith; and special sister-in-law Tammy Vickers.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
In honor of David’s request, there will be no services.
The family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or FairHoPe Hospice 282 Sells Rd. Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
