David Wm. Cozad, age 68, of Heath, Ohio, passed away January 29, 2022, at Selma Markowitz Inpatient Care Center at the Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio.
David was born March 4, 1953, in Logan, Ohio. He was a minister; a graduate of West High School in Columbus; and attended the Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Surviving are his wife of almost 48 years, Shirley Wallace Cozad; son, Jonathan (Danielle) Cozad of Heath; daughter, Rachel Price of Heath; grandchildren, J. D. Cozad, Benjamin Hall, Zachary (Courtney) Cozad, Kaitlyn Cozad, William Nutter, Austin Cozad, and Addie Cozad; great-grandchildren, Roseabella Hall, Alexander Hall, and Everly Cozad; and sister, Rhonda (Steve) Dillon.
David was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Cozad; mother, LaDonna Floyd; and brother, Michael Floyd.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Jonathan Cozad officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 12-1 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
