Deena L. Rollins, age 88, of Rockbridge, Ohio went to be with her Lord on July 17, 2023, at the Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
Deena was born May 18, 1935, in Logan, Ohio to Lester and Goldie Lytle. She was very active in ministries at Antioch Alliance Church, and worked at Ray-O-Vac, Lancaster, and Hocking College Lodge, Nelsonville.
Deena loved to cook, to sing, and Kids. She was “mom” and “grandma” to many people.
Surviving are her sons, Randy (Wanda) Rollins of Amanda, Steven (Debbie) Rollins of Newark, and Gary (Mary) Rollins of North Carolina; daughter, Debbie (Richard) Halley of Gibisonville; 12 grandchildren, Shawn, Lee and Misti Halley, Rondah Stepp, Vince Ott, Chris Gee, Troy and Kevin Daniels, Christopher, Mandy and Tedi Rollins, and Tiffany (Tray) Hurn of Florida; 15 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jane (Larry) Auker; sister-in-law, Mary Justice; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Maryann Lehman.
Deena was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 43 years, Estel Z. Rollins; and siblings, Paul and Don Lytle, Phyllis Fletcher, Ruth Unger, Sandra Goss, and Helen Lytle.
A celebration of Deena’s life was held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 28, 2023, at Antioch Alliance Church of Logan, Ohio with pastors Brian Neville and Bruce Livingston officiating.
Calling hours were observed 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, July 27, 2023, also at the church.
