Delena K. Wright Windle, age 85, of Logan, Ohio, passed away September 15, 2021, at her son’s residence, Logan, Ohio.
Delena was born January 20, 1936, in Goose Run, Ohio to Jefferson and Lovetta Alma Wright. She was a member of the Faith Freewill Baptist Church in Logan, Ohio.
Surviving are her children, Christy (Ira) Perry New Straitsville, Delena “Dena” (Paul) Tremper of Pensacola, Florida, Roland “Dude” (Freda) Windle of Logan, Linda Blackburn of Logan, and Timothy “Tim” (Carolyn) Windle of Logan; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sister Sharon Slatzer of Newark; brother Henry Wright of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
Delena was preceded in death by her parents; husband Raymond “Dude” Windle; son Shane Windle; and 4 brothers.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm., Monday September 20, 2021, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Tony Vanover officiating. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 11 am – 1 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
