Denise Kelley-Stewart (Primmer), age 71, of Pleasantville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2024, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio. 

Denise was born November 6, 1953, in Lancaster, Ohio to Frank and Leah Rae Primmer. A loving mother, wife, sister & friend to many, she was a graduate of Starr-Washington High School; an auxiliary member of AmVets; enjoyed gardening, bird watching, baking, cooking, and canning; and loved decorating for holidays; avid animal lover, especially her own Furkids; and she had God in her life, especially at Christmas. Surviving are her husband, Dave Baker; daughter, Marissa Fickel; granddaughters, Rachel Rayburn-Platz (Jonah) and Savannah Stivison(Tyler); great-granddaughter, Violet Myers; granddaughter, Keraleya Barstow; great-granddaughter, Iris; grandson, Kelley Barstow (Isabella); great-granddaughter, Nyxe; great-grandson, Kelley Dean; sisters, Barbara Collier Kaylor(Ken) and Paula Mayes(Jim); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and family/friends; Robbin Mesaros,(Brantley & Robert), Roxanne D’Onofrio, Terry Thrush, and James Martin.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephen Barstow; and brother, Tom Primmer.

Memorial services were held at 2 pm, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman and Judd Baker officiating. 

Calling hour was observed from 1 to 2 pm, on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
