Denny
Joe Griffin Jr., 46, of Lancaster , Ohio passed away August 8, 2018 at
Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Denny was born August 28, 1971 in Logan, Ohio to Denny Joe Griffin and
Elizabeth Diane Rose. He was a graduate of Logan High School; member of
the Labor Union from Delaware; and belonged to AA.
Surviving are parents, Diane (Fred) Nicholson of Lancaster and Denny
(Sherry) Griffin of Jeffersonville, Indiana; children, Brayden Griffin
and Brody Norman; sisters, Amanda (Nick) McCrady of Thornville, Jesse
(Jeremy Anderson) Nicholson of Sugar Grove, Denise (Dan) Boesche of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Danielle Griffin of Jeffersonville,
Indiana; nieces and nephews, Omnisity Anderson, Averie Smith, Olivia
McCrady, Quinn McCrady, Conner Boesche, and Peyton Boesche; many aunts,
uncles, and cousins; and special friends, John and Jeff.
Denny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank & Margaret
Rose and Jack & Mary Griffin; aunt Pam Griffin Reed; cousin Mindy
Coffill-Chappelear; and special aunt Judy Febes.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the
Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev John Williams
officiating. Burial was in Laurel Township Cemetery, Gibisonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Friday, August 10, 2018 from 4-8 pm and
12:00 Noon to time of service.
