Donald Lee Shaffer Jr., age 42, of Guysville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly March 28, 2024.
Donnie was born November 17, 1981, in Cleveland to Donald Lee Shaffer Sr. and Betty Day. Donnie loved to go hunting, fishing, and spend time with his kids.
Surviving are his children, Hanna (Ethan Runyon) Shaffer and Braylen Shaffer; bonus children, Aiden and Nevick Roush; grandchildren, Az’riah Runyon; brothers, James (Kayla Estep) Shaffer; sister, Karen (Dwight Edwards) Shaffer; nieces and nephews, Josh Shaffer, Kilee Edwards, Kenzlee Edwards, Cheyann Shaffer, Kameron Shaffer, Harley Shaffer, Hunter Shaffer, Gracelynn Shaffer, Isiah Shaffer, and Jason Shaffer Jr.; friends, Sherry Triplett, Christy (Raymond) Kasler; and several other friends and family.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Shaffer and Betty Day; brothers, Richard Shaffer and Jason Shaffer.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday April 9, 2024, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio. Burial followed the service at Hill Top Cemetery in Millfield, Ohio where he was buried beside his father.
Calling hours were observed 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday April 9, 2024, at the funeral home prior to the service.
