Donna J. Neely, age 82, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away August 15, 2021 at Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
Donna was born March 1, 1939 in Logan, Ohio to Glen and Marion Warthman. She was a 1956 graduate of Logan High School. Donna was a competitive trap shooter for 25 years. She won many competitions including winning the Numan Award, a national trophy, and is in the New Mexico Trap Shooting Hall of Fame.
Surviving are her children, Debbie (Brian) Benson, Pamela Heft-Benson, Diana (Robert) Ward, and David (Socorro) Heft; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 4 step children; and 4 step grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Harold Neely; her parents; infant daughter, Cynthia Heft; and brother, Ronald “Lucky” Warthman.
Graveside services were held following a procession from the funeral home, leaving at 11:00 am on Monday, August 30, 2021 to Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
