Donna McDonald, 69, of New Straitsville, Ohio passed away June 18, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio. Donna was born October 31, 1947 in Mobile, Alabama to William and Evelyn Couch. She was a member of the Ohio Barrel Racing Association; and was a Optometric Assistant. Surviving are her daughters, Christina (Kris) Bunting of Nelsonville, Lynette (Jamie) Thompson of New Straitsville; grandchildren, Kayleigh Bunting of Nelsonville, Conner (Allie) Bunting of Nelsonville, Nathan Thompson of New Straitsville, and Nicholas Thompson of New Straitsville; great-grandchildren, Paisley Bunting of Nelsonville, and Brady Bunting of Nelsonville; and sister, Vyvyan Moore of St. Louis, Missouri. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Lawrence “Larry” E. McDonald, who passed away November 19, 2015; and brother, William Couch Jr. Graveside services were held 10:00 am Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Connor Cemetery, Buchtel, Ohio, with Pastor Phillip Venrick officiating. Arrangements were by Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio.
