Dorothy
Eileen “Betty” Shaulis, 89, of New Marshfield, Ohio passed away March
23, 2015 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, Ohio.
Dorothy was born April 20, 1925 in Findley, Ohio to Edward and Ocie
Terry. She attended Mineral Church.
Surviving are her sons, David Shaulis of New Marshfield, and Aaron “Jim”
Shaulis of Albany; daughters, Naoma “Dolly” (Daniel) Langsdale of Logan
and Ruth Ann (Duane) Searles of Crooksville; Debbie Keogh of Toledo
who was adopted by love; grandchildren, Tim Searles, Julie Stratton,
Jeff Searles, and Mikki Montgomery; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2
great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Marion Dean
Floyd Shaulis, who passed away in 2002. She was the last of her family
of 8 children.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Friday March 27, 2015 at the
Mineral Church in Mineral, Ohio with Rev. Roger Hatfield officiating.
Burial was in Quail Trap Cemetery, New Marshfield, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Thursday 5-8 pm at the Warren-Brown Funeral
Home in Nelsonville, and one hour prior to the service at the church on
Friday.
