Douglas D. Conley, 60, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away September 16, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Douglas was born March 15, 1958 in Nelsonville, Ohio to Baxter and Stella Conley. He was a U.S. Army Veteran; a member of the Amvets #1776 of Logan; and retired from Hocking Correctional Facility in Nelsonville.
Surviving are his wife of almost 35 years, Tammy Stover Conley of Nelsonville; son Charles “C.D.” (Samantha) Conley of Glouster; daughter Autuum Conley of Nelsonville; grandsons, Cooper, Conner, one on the way, and Caiden; sister Karen Conley Whitington of Creola; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Douglas was preceded in death by his parents; and his aunt and uncle who raised him, Harold and Nellie Wolfe.
Funeral services were held at 7:00 pm, Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. A military services were held by the Combined Color Guard at the funeral home.
Calling hours were observed Friday, September 21, 2018 from 5:00 pm to time of service.
