Edward F. Stimel, age 87, of Logan, Ohio, passed away suddenly on June 12, 2024.
Ed was born November 4, 1936, to Charles N. Stimel and Mildred Mae Stimel. Ed was a member of the Logan Moose and Masonic Lodges. Ed also loved everything OSU.
Surviving are his daughter, Melissa Stimel; nieces, Linda Brown and Debie Henwood; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Stimel; parents, Charles and Mildred Stimel; siblings, Charles Stimel, Clarabelle Six, Madge Dillon, and Eloise Moorehead; sister-in-law, Treasa Poling; and brother-in-law, Doug Vorhees.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday June 18, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial was in the Old Methodist Cemetery, Gibsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 P.M. on Monday, June 17, 2024, and 10 – 11 A.M. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the funeral home.
