Elizabeth Ann Sorrell, age 65, of Athens, Ohio, passed away peacefully August 2, 2023, at her home.
Betsy was born February 9th, 1957, in Melbourne, Florida to William Kendrick and Ann Schneidhorst. She was a Class of 1975 Shawnee High School Graduate in Lima, Ohio. Betsy was also a devoted member of the Christian Fellowship Church of Logan, Ohio. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and being with her family and friends.
Surviving are her mother, Ann Schneidhorst; children, Kenneth Early Jr., Matthew J. Early, and Edna Early; 26 total grandchildren, Emma Early, Zachariah Early, Darwin Early, and Isabella Early; and siblings, Ruth Body, Nathaniel Kendrick, Shoshannah Meyrieux, Benjamin Kendrick, Johnathan Kendrick, John Schneidhorst, Lynn Olson, Amy Schneidhorst, Sue Schneidhorst, Meg Dingwall, and Beth Dennard.
Betsy was preceded in death by her late husband, James Sorrell; father, William Kendrick; and brother, Tom Schneidhorst.
Funeral services were held at 11:30 A.M., Tuesday August 8, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.Â
