Errett E. Collins, 87, of Columbus, passed away August 18,2015 at Kobacker House, Columbus, Ohio. Errett was born December 30, 1927 in Hollister, Ohio to Peter and Maude Collins. He was a member of the West Broad St. Missionary Chapel;loved his church family and his special friends at Ponderosa and in Glouster; and loved gardening, selling produce, and traveling. Surviving are his wife, Marian Collins; daughter, Betty (Randall)Dotterer of Grove City; granddaughter, Michelle (Perry Jr.) Tuttle of Hilliard. Errett was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Louis, Robert and Alvin; and sisters, Dorothy and Kate. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm Thursday August 20, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Pastor Gary Brugger, Rev. Dewey King, and Rev. Nancy Ellers officiating. Burial was in Glouster Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Thursday 12:00noon until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Marian Collins.
