Gary Steven Allen, age 62, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away June 19, 2019 at Arbors of Pomeroy, Pomeroy, Ohio.
Gary was born September 22, 1956 in Nelsonville, Ohio to Floyd Allen and Margaret (Clark) Allen. He attended the Longstreth Community Church.
Surviving are mother and step-father, Margaret and Dee Dishong of Nelsonville; former wife, Mary Jackson of Franklin, NC; daughter Heather Margaret Lange of Franklin, NC; step-daughter Jennifer Snyder; brothers, Mike Allen of Albany, Harley (Joy) Allen of Albany, Scott (Kimberly) Allen of Albany, Danny (Barbara) Allen of Fortson, GA; step-brother Randy (Lynda) Dishong of Nelsonville; step-sister Angela (Casey) Williams of Carbon Hill; 2 step-grandchildren; special friend, Don (Shirley) Mash; and many nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were held at 8 pm Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 6-8 pm Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the funeral Home.
