Gene D. Stickdorn, age 92, of Logan, Ohio, passed away October 12, 2022, at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Gene was born December 24, 1929, in Hemlock, Ohio to August Stickdorn and Pheve Bartow Stickdorn. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Surviving are sons, Daniel (Earlene) Stickdorn of Sugar Grove and Tim (Susan) Stickdorn of Logan; and granddaughters, Samantha Stickdorn of Columbus and Brittney Stickdorn of Columbus.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Stickdorn; and siblings, Andy, Sam, Gusty, and Laverne.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday October 15, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio where Military Graveside services were conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
Calling hours were observed 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
